In 2008 we were at the Ryder Cup (won by the US!) held here in Louisville at Valhalla Golf Club. In 2007 we obtained Cherry wood from the golf course and made mallet putters from it; we sold the putters on site at the event in conjunction with the PGA.

A handmade mallet putter appeared in the theatrical release of the James Cameron’s blockbuster, Avatar. On the DVD special edition release, a deleted scene included a Thumper Max Persimmon driver.
