Harry Vardon won seven major championships, including a record six Open Championships, and remains one of the most influential figures in the history of golf. His search for the ideal putter led him to clubmaker Arthur Brown, whose distinctive Brown Vardon design became closely associated with Vardon and his remarkable career.
While the metal Brown Vardon is the version most golfers recognize today, an original persimmon version was also produced. That rare wooden model carried the same unmistakable Brown Vardon character in an entirely different material, creating a putter with a distinctive appearance, feel, and presence.
