Handcrafted Solid Brass Ball Marker
More than a ball marker, this is a small piece of Louisville Golf history.
Each marker begins as a piece of solid American brass and is stamped at our Louisville factory on Old Goliath, our 40-ton press that has been in service since Louisville Golf began in 1974.
That same press has been used in the manufacture of persimmon clubs played at the highest levels of the game, including the sole plate of the Hogan persimmon driver used to win the 1992 U.S. Open.
The logo is the only part of the process done by press. From there, every marker is individually shaped and finished by hand.
Each piece is:
- Hand rounded on a bandsaw
- Hand hammered around the perimeter
- Hand ground and shaped
- Fine finished entirely by hand
- Made from solid USA brass
Because the shaping and finishing are performed individually, no two markers are exactly alike. Slight variations in contour, hammering and finish are not imperfections—they are the marks of a genuinely handcrafted piece.
The finished marker has a substantial feel in the hand and carries the character of the same Louisville Golf factory and equipment that have been producing golf equipment for more than 50 years.
